Michael Jordan has joined the SOPA – Philadelphia Team

We are excited to announce that Michael Jordan has joined the SOPA – Philadelphia team as our new Manager of Interscholastic Partnerships! In this role, Michael will work with our Unified Champion Schools and manage Unified Sports, Youth Leadership, and Whole School Engagements within the schools of Philadelphia. Michael will work closely with the School District of Philadelphia to continue growing our footprint within the school district. 

Michael has been involved in the Philadelphia Unified Champion Schools program for the past three years as a Unified Bocce and Unified Soccer coach at Abraham Lincoln High School. His previous experience includes serving as a paraprofessional in a deaf/hard of hearing life skills classroom, intensive emotional support classroom assistant, and high school varsity soccer coach at Lincoln and Holy Ghost Prep in Bensalem, PA.

Michael is a graduate of Iona College in New Rochelle, NY where he studied speech-language pathology and audiology. His first day with SOPA will be Wednesday, January 23rd. Michael can be reached at mjordan@specialolympicspa.org or 215-671-5078.
